How To Make Your Bunny Rabbit A Digging Box

HEY EVERYBUNNY!

We know are bunnies love to dig, it’s there natural habitat. i'll show you how to make them a place to dig that they will love like my own rabbit little Mooncake.

My bunbun Mooncake was trying to dig in anything he could, so i thought why not make him a digging box? so that’s what i did- you can see how he reacts to the box, he loves it! he goes there every day and he doesn't get bored of it (usually bunnies get bored very fast)

The digging box is very easy to make and you don’t need to buy anything special for it just things you got at home will be fine, so here you go:

things you will need:

  • 1 carton box. my recommendation is to use at least 16hx6w inch box, depends on your bunny size.
  • a towel you don't need for covering the carton box
  • more carton boxes or any carton bag\paper you have at home (it will be the filling) + I choose for my bunny no coloring with no sharp metal or glow just plain natural non color paper is the best for them.
  • good strong scissors or Stanley knife if you have a cropping pad

Steps:

  1. Cut the carton box to rectangle pieces of 4x2 inch ± . took me 20min to cut about 40 pieces of hard thick cardboard.
  2. Take the paper and scramble to little balls
  3. Cut a little door with a bread knife (I don’t recommend cutting with scissors)
  4. Put all the filling and anything your bunny will love in the box (check it’s safe for them to chow because they nibble everything they can )

 Tips and tricks:

Every time you get a new kind of paper\cardboard you can stuff it in THE BOX .

Change the box place and see if your rabbit perforce one PLEACE more then an other .

Don’t bother them when there in the box let them fill safe and untouchable like if they were in a real underground burrow.

You can put some treats hidden inside.

Hope all the bunnies will like this idea. my bunny is crazy about this digging box!

try and see how you're bunny reacts and tell me what do you think.

AND what do you make for you're bunnies?

Love from me and my rabbit mooncake
